A genuinely great eight-player SNES party — which is exactly the wrong thing to meet alone in a browser tab.
N-Warp Daisakusen is Matthias 'd4s' Nagler's frantic SNES party game from 2008, given away as freeware (with source the following year) simply because the novelty amused him. Up to eight players warp around an arena trying to knock each other out, and on the right couch it's the kind of homebrew that genuinely out-parties retail cartridges — a real achievement on 16-bit hardware.
The trouble is the venue. Its entire value lives in a crowded room with eight controllers, and a single-player browser emulator strands most of that. Solo, you're admiring a great idea through glass. Rated as the party game it is, it's a delight; rated as something you'll click and play alone right now, it's diminished. Round up friends and pads and it climbs. By yourself, temper expectations.

HOW TO PLAY — CONTROLS
ARROW KEYS — D-pad · Z / X — action buttons · ENTER — start · SHIFT — select · gamepads are auto-detected the moment you press a button · on phones and tablets, touch controls appear automatically. Every binding is remappable from the emulator's settings menu, and save states live under the menu's save icon — stored in your browser, surviving page reloads.
