The ADB backup, step by step
The cleanest method is a wired ADB pull from the G2 to a PC, then an ADB push to the Pocket 6 after you have installed the same emulator versions. If you would rather just move the microSD card, that works for microSD-hosted content, but internal storage still needs the pull. The command shape:

Resist the urge to drag your entire config folder across. Your G2's per-core video settings were tuned around an immature Adreno A22 driver — conservative resolution multipliers, possibly a non-Vulkan fallback driver, shader choices that made sense on weaker output. On the Pocket 6 you have a mature Turnip Vulkan path and real headroom, so you want to re-select the Vulkan driver and push internal resolutions up (GameCube to 3×, PS2 to 1.5–2×). The data-backed call
The Retroid Pocket 6 at $244 is the recommendation, and not merely by forfeit. Even if the G2 were fully in stock at $219, the Pocket 6 would win for anyone who cares about Switch, PC streaming, general Android use, or long-term firmware support, because the driver maturity gap is decisive and the raw 8–10% GPU deficit on the G2 was never the real story. The G2's honest advantages — lighter, quieter, cheaper, newer Android — are all either marginal or undercut by the driver catch-22, and now they are moot, because you cannot buy one at $219 anyway.
The reviewers who spent real time with each device landed in the same place. Ban at Retro Handhelds, reviewing the G2, was asked the direct question and answered it: "If it were my money, would I buy the G2? No." Kupetsky called it a good handheld "let down only by the next handheld coming so soon" — and that next handheld is the one we are telling you to buy. Saltalamacchia's 8.4/10 RetroDodo review of the Pocket 6 dinged it for being "a Perfect, Yet Slightly Dull Android Handheld" that "played it too safe to turn heads," and argued "a $250 device should have something unique." Fair criticism. Dull and reliable still beats novel and discontinued.
The one caveat that flips it: if you stumble onto a used G2 at roughly $180 or less, and your library genuinely stops at the PS1, PSP, and Dreamcast, and you value the lighter silent body over everything else — buy the G2 and enjoy it, because at that price and for that use it is a smart object. For everyone else, in a market where the G2 is a ghost that costs more used than it did new, the answer is the $244 Pocket 6. The corpse loses. It was close on the chip, and it wasn't close on the driver, and in the end the market made the decision for you anyway.
