A graveyard-themed Mojon Twins platformer with charm to spare and a footprint by design.
Cadàveriön (2018) is another pocket-sized NES build from The Mojon Twins, again on their MK1_NES engine and again handed over free with source under LGPL / CC BY-NC-SA. This one dresses the familiar flip-screen formula in spooky clothes: hop through haunted single-screen rooms, collect your way out while the graveyard does its worst. The theme gives it a likable personality the engine alone wouldn't.
What it does well is mood-on-a-budget — restless-dead atmosphere conjured from a handful of tiles and a clear objective. The limitation is the same one that shadows the whole MK1_NES catalogue: mechanically it's close kin to Espitene and the rest, so if you've played one Mojon Twins room you know the rhythm of this one. As a self-contained Halloween-flavoured diversion it's perfectly judged. As a standalone reason to seek it out, it's pleasant rather than distinctive.

THE STORY BEHIND THIS CARTRIDGE
Cadàveriön sends you hopping through a graveyard of single-screen rooms, another bite-sized build from the Mojon Twins' MK1_NES engine. Like the rest of the collective's catalogue it was written for love rather than money and released free with its source — a haunted little platformer that knows exactly how long it wants to keep you.
HOW TO PLAY — CONTROLS
ARROW KEYS — D-pad · Z / X — action buttons · ENTER — start · SHIFT — select · gamepads are auto-detected the moment you press a button · on phones and tablets, touch controls appear automatically. Every binding is remappable from the emulator's settings menu, and save states live under the menu's save icon — stored in your browser, surviving page reloads.
