THE STORY BEHIND THIS CARTRIDGE
Espitene is one of dozens of tiny NES games the Mojon Twins have given away over the years, built on their own MK1_NES engine and released with full source. The Spanish collective treats the console like a sketchbook — flip-screen rooms, a single clear objective, no padding — and hands the result to anyone who wants it under Creative Commons. It is small on purpose, and complete on purpose.
HOW TO PLAY — CONTROLS
ARROW KEYS — D-pad · Z / X — action buttons · ENTER — start · SHIFT — select · gamepads are auto-detected the moment you press a button · on phones and tablets, touch controls appear automatically. Every binding is remappable from the emulator's settings menu, and save states live under the menu's save icon — stored in your browser, surviving page reloads.

- Completely. Espitene is original homebrew for the NES — its author distributes it free under a license that permits redistribution (LGPL / CC BY-NC-SA), and the full credit is recorded in our attribution file. Nothing here is a commercial ROM.
