THE STORY BEHIND THIS CARTRIDGE
Escape Obliterizer Deluxe is João Godinho's GPL-3.0 Game Boy Color remake of the original Escape Obliterizer, written from scratch in C as his first contact with the language and with Game Boy programming. It was released free as a downloadable ROM and even pressed to physical cartridges. The result is a tight high-score chase — stay ahead of the Obliterizer, room after collapsing room — with the full source published openly.
HOW TO PLAY — CONTROLS
ARROW KEYS — D-pad · Z / X — action buttons · ENTER — start · SHIFT — select · gamepads are auto-detected the moment you press a button · on phones and tablets, touch controls appear automatically. Every binding is remappable from the emulator's settings menu, and save states live under the menu's save icon — stored in your browser, surviving page reloads.
