THE STORY BEHIND THIS CARTRIDGE
Renegade Rush is an MIT-licensed reflex-arcade game for the original Game Boy by Quinn Painter, shortlisted in the 2021 Game Boy Compo. It is the same author behind Wyrmhole and CrossConnect, both already on this wall — a developer plainly at home wringing speed out of 1989 hardware. Source, music driver and font credits are all published openly with the game.
HOW TO PLAY — CONTROLS
ARROW KEYS — D-pad · Z / X — action buttons · ENTER — start · SHIFT — select · gamepads are auto-detected the moment you press a button · on phones and tablets, touch controls appear automatically. Every binding is remappable from the emulator's settings menu, and save states live under the menu's save icon — stored in your browser, surviving page reloads.
