THE STORY BEHIND THIS CARTRIDGE
Squishy the Turtle was written by Chris Cacciatore (cppchriscpp) in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 34 and released under the MIT license. Squishy can grow and shrink at will: big enough to wade through piranha-filled rivers, small enough to squeeze through portals too tight for his larger self. Collect every egg, avoid the spiders and crabs, and reach safety — a complete little puzzle-platformer built on GBDK and given away with its source.
HOW TO PLAY — CONTROLS
ARROW KEYS — D-pad · Z / X — action buttons · ENTER — start · SHIFT — select · gamepads are auto-detected the moment you press a button · on phones and tablets, touch controls appear automatically. Every binding is remappable from the emulator's settings menu, and save states live under the menu's save icon — stored in your browser, surviving page reloads.
